For law firms
AI automation for law firms: the assistant you can't hire
60 percent of German firms with an open paralegal apprenticeship received not a single application. Half of all firms cannot fill paralegal positions at all (BRAK STAR 2024, Soldan Institut). The job market will not give your lawyers the support they need. Automating the work nobody should still do by hand will.

In short
Your team's hours go to the work before the file: the phone, the beA and email inbox, intake, chasing documents, the same client status questions every week. That is what we build. Legal assessment of the individual case is reserved to lawyers, and our systems respect that line. The trial run starts at €2,500.Last updated:
The gap
Your practice software now drafts documents. Nobody runs the office around it.
RA-MICRO, AnNoText and ADVOKAT ship AI that summarizes and drafts inside the file. Your team's hours go to the work before the file: the phone, the beA and email inbox, intake, chasing documents, the same client status questions every week. That is what we build.
Intake that arrives pre-sorted
The system records inquiries from web, email and phone in a fixed structure: type of matter, parties for the conflict check, urgency, documents. Your team opens a prepared file instead of a voicemail. Legal advice stays with the lawyer; the system only collects and sorts.
beA and email sorting with draft replies
The system sorts incoming mail by matter and urgency, files attachments where they belong and drafts routine replies in your firm's tone. Your team checks and approves before anything goes out. Possible deadlines are only suggested; someone on your team confirms every single entry, because deadlines are where liability lies. Our beA article maps the case law on what may be automated around beA.
Chasing documents, answering status questions
Clients get automatic reminders about missing documents, in your tone. Standard status questions get a prepared answer instead of interrupting a lawyer. The follow-up work that costs firms hours runs on its own.
A knowledge assistant for your own briefs
Your pleadings, templates and internal guidance, searchable in plain language and hosted in the EU. Every answer cites its source, so it can be checked. New staff find the firm's wording without asking the one person who remembers the 2019 case.
Professional law first
Built around professional secrecy, not past it
Law firms cannot use AI the way other businesses do. A provider who does not start with that is a risk. Our setup follows § 43e BRAO for Germany and the Austrian bar's AI guidance of September 2025.
- A § 43e BRAO service-provider contract
- A written confidentiality commitment with explicit notice of criminal consequences under § 203 StGB. Access only to what the service requires, and the same obligations for every subcontractor. For Austrian firms, aligned with the ÖRAK checklist and § 9 RAO.
- EU hosting or on-premise
- We process client data on EU infrastructure, or on your own servers if the matter requires it. Processing outside the EU happens only where secrecy protection is comparable, as § 43e BRAO requires.
- Your data trains nothing
- We set up the model providers so that client data is not used for training. In typical EU deployments we use the models through AWS Bedrock and Azure OpenAI in EU regions. What runs through the system stays in your accounts.
- The lawyer decides
- Legal assessment of the individual case is reserved to lawyers, and our systems respect that line. They collect, sort, draft and remind. They do not advise clients, sign or file. Every result arrives as a draft for a lawyer to review.

Intro call
Free
30 minutes on where your firm loses time. If AI is not the right tool, we tell you.
Trial run
from €2,500 · credited to the implementation
We find out where the hours actually go, from intake to the deadline board, and rank the use cases by payback. You get a shortlist with the expected effort, not a slide deck.
Implementation
Fixed fee, named in your proposal
We implement and test one workflow with your team, typically within two to four weeks once prerequisites are confirmed. We train your team, and your team checks and approves every draft before client data goes out.
The implementation of one contained workflow costs about €3,000 to €5,000. Projects with several processes and systems cost more, and the fixed fee is in your proposal before work starts. Ongoing care starts at €250 per month per workflow. 30 min · remote · no obligation. And if AI isn't the right tool, we'll say so.
Fair questions
What law firms ask us first
01Does this replace staff?
No, and that is not the goal. The numbers above show you cannot hire the support you need. Automation gives some of those hours back, and firms spend them on billable work instead of phone tag and filing.
02We run RA-MICRO, AnNoText or ADVOKAT. Does this replace it?
No. Your practice software stays the system of record, and its built-in AI drafting is useful. We automate the work in front of it: what arrives by phone and beA, what is missing, what clients keep asking. Where interfaces exist, we use them.
03What about deadlines?
Missed deadlines are the most common trigger of professional liability claims. That is why our systems never handle deadlines alone. They find and prepare possible deadlines; someone on your team confirms every entry in your deadline calendar. Automation makes checking faster, not optional.
04May client data go into an AI system at all?
Only under certain conditions, and our setup is built for exactly that: a service-provider contract meeting § 43e BRAO including the § 203 StGB notice, EU hosting, no training on your data, and a lawyer reviews everything before it reaches a client or a court. Without these conditions, the honest answer would be no.
05What does it cost?
The trial run starts at €2,500. If you go ahead, we credit it in full against the implementation. If we advise against automating in writing, we refund the fee. The implementation gets its own fixed-fee quote. For market context, our blog shows what AI automation actually costs, with sources. The implementation of one contained workflow costs about €3,000 to €5,000. Projects with several processes and systems cost more, and the fixed fee is in your proposal before work starts. Ongoing care starts at €250 per month per workflow. Read the article with the cost examples. Calculate with your own numbers.
