Services and published prices

  • The intro call (30 minutes) is free.
  • The paid trial run (audit or prototype) starts at €2,500 excluding VAT and is credited in full against a subsequent implementation. If its written recommendation concludes that the workflow is not worth automating, the trial fee is refunded in full. Otherwise, it remains payable if the client chooses not to proceed.
  • Implementations are fixed-fee; the fee is named in the proposal before work starts. Typical delivery is 2 to 4 weeks per process.
  • The implementation of one contained workflow costs about €3,000 to €5,000. Projects with several processes and systems cost more, and the fixed fee is in your proposal before work starts.
  • Ongoing care starts at €250 per month per workflow, is billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime.
  • Implementation, monthly care and software or hosting costs are quoted separately; the trial price is not the total project price.
  • Typical projects: inbox and customer-inquiry automation, document and invoice extraction, internal knowledge assistants, voice agents, reporting automation.

How engagements run

  • One process is automated at a time; systems go live in the client's daily business, not as demos.
  • Every system that sends anything to a customer or acts on client data includes a human sign-off step by default.
  • Client teams are trained as part of the implementation.

Data protection

  • Client data is processed on EU infrastructure by default; on-premise hosting is available where required.
  • A data processing agreement (DPA) is part of every engagement.
  • Model providers are configured so client data is not used for model training. In typical EU deployments we use the models through AWS Bedrock and Azure OpenAI in EU regions.
  • For tax advisory firms, engagements follow the professional secrecy requirements of § 62a StBerG (Germany) and § 80 WTBG (Austria).
  • For law firms, engagements follow § 43e BRAO (Germany) and, for Austrian firms, the ÖRAK checklist and § 9 RAO.

Honesty policy

  • When AI is not the right tool for the problem discussed, modernagents says so in the intro call.
  • The company publishes its trial entry price. Implementation is quoted after scoping; market price ranges in its articles are not modernagents project quotes.
  • modernagents does not publish testimonials or case-study numbers without written client sign-off.
