Case study · Model platform, international

The AI answers the questions. The scouting team decides.

go-models is an international model and talent platform with thousands of visitors and members every day. Many have questions: about signing up, their account, how the application works. Today two AI voice assistants answer those questions around the clock, right on the website. The scouting team still reviews the applications themselves.

Starting point

Thousands of visitors a day, many with the same question

Thousands of visitors and members come to go-models every day. Some need help signing in, others are not yet sure how the platform works or how to get the most out of their profile.

Answering all of that by hand, by phone or chat, ties up a lot of staff. And people applying as models often have questions about the process before they even start.

Approach

Two assistants, clear limits

  1. 1

    Two jobs, kept apart

A short assistant qualifies every visitor. A longer one helps members with their account, sign-in and profile.

  2. 2

    Inside the existing site

Both speak right in the website widget. There is no new app and no second platform.

  3. 3

The AI helps, the team decides

The assistants explain and guide through the application. The scouting team decides on applications.

  4. 4

    Handover to people

When a conversation gets complex, the assistant hands over to the team instead of guessing an answer.

What it sounds like

A conversation with the assistant

People applying as models are guided through the application step by step. The assistant explains, answers follow-up questions and stays in its role: it helps with the application, it does not decide on it.

On the right, a shortened example of such a conversation.

Voice assistant · go-modelsExample, shortened
  1. Hi, I'd like to apply as a model. How does it work?

  2. Happy to help, I'll guide you through the application step by step. Do you already have a go-models account?

  3. No, not yet.

  4. Then we'll set up your account first. I'll explain every step, and you can ask at any time.

  5. And who decides whether I'm accepted?

  6. The go-models scouting team decides that. I help you with the application itself.

When a request gets complex, the assistant hands over to the team.

What the assistant may do: answer questions, explain the platform, help with sign-in and the account, and guide through the application.

What it may not do: decide on applications. That stays with the scouting team.

What the AI handles

Two voice assistants, around the clock

Both work right on the go-models website.

  1. Around the clock

Visitors qualified in about 30 seconds

A short voice assistant in the website widget greets visitors and works out in about 30 seconds what they need: an application, signing in or a question about the platform. They then continue on the right path.

  2. Around the clock

    Help for members

A longer assistant helps members sign in and access their account, checks their identity on the way, explains the platform and gives tips on improving their profile. It hands complex requests over to the team.

Limits and operation

Help around the clock, decisions with the team

Around the clock

Visitors and members get help at any time of day, even when the team is not available.

No decisions by the AI

The assistants guide through the application. The scouting team decides who is accepted.

Handover to people

Complex conversations go to the team instead of the assistant guessing an answer.

Inside the existing site

The assistants speak in the widget of the existing website. Visitors install nothing.

How many questions does your team answer by hand every day?

In 30 minutes we look at which questions an AI assistant could take over for you, by phone, chat or on your website. If AI is not the right tool, we tell you.
